« The Story of a Lonely Band » n’est pas une simple compilation d’hommages : c’est une plongée narrative dans les années 1957-1962, quand cinq garçons de Liverpool – parfois six, parfois quatre – ont inventé le futur sans le savoir. Chaque titre est une scène clef de leur épopée, des pelouses de Woolton aux nuits torrides de Hamburg, en passant par les couloirs d’Abbey Road.
