The borders of the British Mandate of Palestine (1920–1948) were defined as follows:
- West: The Mediterranean Sea
- North: The French Mandates of Lebanon and Syria (the border was set by the Paulet–Newcombe Agreement of 1920)
- East: The British Mandate of Transjordan (later Jordan), with the Jordan River as the boundary
- South: The British Mandate of Egypt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
These borders included what is now Israel, the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, and Jordan (which was separated administratively in 1922).
